In just a couple weeks, our partner, Love Hope Strength, is traveling to one of the nation’s biggest and best music festivals: South By Southwest (SXSW). This event takes place in Austin, Texas every year and the music portion is on March 17-22.

But this isn’t the first year Love Hope Strength has attended SXSW. In fact, there were about 200 people that signed up to “Get on the List” at last year’s big event. And at last year’s event, one young man was inspired to sign up and ended up saving a man’s life. Last year, Whitley Teslow put his name on the national bone marrow database and was matched with a man who had leukemia and needed a transplant. Teslow did end up donating and the man’s life was saved.

Love Hope Strength has several volunteers in the Austin area that will be working at this year’s SXSW. Here’s where the team will be all week long.
