The year of 2015 is about to end, but there is so much to look forward to in the year of 2016. From events to exhibits and even foodie feasts, mark your calendars now to save the date for these awesome events coming up in 2016.
Sherlock Holmes Party
After the New Years Eve events close, there’s still another party to keep on your radar, taking place on Friday, January 15 at 7-11 p.m. It’s called “It’s a party, my dear Watson,” and it’s an event about going back in time and going on a true adventure. After hours at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, this Sherlock Holmes themed party is 21+ and will provide cocktails, tasty bites and an adventure to solve a crime.
Denver Winter Brew Fest
The 2015 Winter Brew Fest is an event you must put on your radar. On Friday and Saturday, January 22 and 23, head to Mile High Station on Colfax for the opportunity to taste and celebrate craft brews from Colorado, along with some other U.S. favorites. There will be local music, food and other vendors. VIP hour is one hour before the GA gates open, and costs only $10 more than GA tickets.
Custom and Vintage Bicycle Expo
Can’t wait for bike riding season to begin? Head to the Custom and Vintage Bicycle Expo at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden on January 31 to check out new custom bikes and bicycle champions, and even participate in the swap meet portion of the event.
2016 Special Olympics CO Denver Polar Plunge
If you’re looking for a charitable way to kick off the new year, and raise money for an awesome cause, look no further than the 2016 Special Olympics Colorado Denver Polar Plunge. Gather a team to jump in icy water, or even take part in the 5K. This event will take place on February 27 at City Park in Denver.
Denver Restaurant Week
Whether you haven’t been to many restaurants in Denver or you’ve seen them all and have numerous favorites, Denver Restaurant Week is the time of year to indulge in every flavor that Denver offers. For $60 per couple or $30 per person, experience several courses from new and classic restaurants all over the city. Denver Restaurant Week 2016 will take place on February 26-March 6.
