Endless Beer, German Food and Family Fun!

No plans this weekend? How about packing up the MINI, driving west to Morrison, experiencing German culture for three days, and enjoying some of the best beer in town?

This weekend on Friday, July 10th, until Sunday, July 12th, head to the Denver Biergarten Festival, taking place at the TEV EDELWEISS festival grounds located in the beautiful Morrison, Colorado. From food and beer to contests, this family-friendly event is the perfect excuse to escape the city for the weekend and experience German culture first-hand.

All weekend long, you’ll be able to experience traditional German food, entertainment, live music, dance groups and of course beer. If you love bratwursts, or you’re just up for any competition, there’s a brat eating contest on Saturday. How does German brunch sound? On Sunday, there will be a delicious German breakfast available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., while supplies last. The brunch is $15 for adults and $8 for kids.

Live music will also ensue during the entire weekend. Band and artists include Rick Borger’s Average German Band, Austrian Connection, Steve Rock, and the Rheinlanders. Live, Bavarian dancing will be provided by the Denver Kickers, and guests are encouraged to also join in on the fun.

Kids 12 and under can get in free to this event. This is a family-friendly event, and the kids will even have their own entertainment area. A bouncy castle, carnival games, sack races, egg races and ‘Torwandschiessen’ (soccer goal wall will all be available, so the kids will have a blast while the parents partake in the beer.
