See Where MINI and LHS Has Been So Far This Year
Schomp MINI‘s partnership with Love Hope Strength – an organization that attends events and mostly concerts to spread a movement to “Get on the List” to be a bone marrow donor – is still going strong. For years, Schomp MINI has partnered with the organization to provide transportation to get them from event to event, sometimes even traveling out of state to touch people’s lives with incredible stories, as well as getting qualified donors on the ‘list.’
If you aren’t familiar with LHS, the organization was founded in 2007 by leukemia survivors Mike Peters (of the Welsh rock band The Alarm) and James Chippendale (president of Ascend Insurance Brokerage). It has since become the world’s leading rock-and-roll cancer foundation, hosting incredible music events in town as well as in places like Mt. Everest, Mt. Fuji and Machu Picchu. One of LHS’ most visited places is Red Rocks Amphitheater, which they’re at numerous times per year.
2014 has so far been a busy year for Love Hope Strength. LHS has not only been at numerous concerts throughout Colorado, but has traveled across the entire United States! Thousands have signed up to be on the list and we couldn’t be more excited to see this organization grow and connect people across the country with life-saving matches.
