4 Incredible International Trips the MINI Has Been On

We bet you’ve been on some amazing MINI adventures yourself. But did you know that the MINI goes on international adventures all the time? Thanks to MINI Space, a place for all things adventures, the MINI and MINI news, we can see just about all those adventures. From Africa to Australia, MINI has been everywhere in the world, seeking adventure and exploring what the world has to offer, which is more than we can ever grasp. It may be the middle of the week, but we’re taking you on a adventure to see some of the coolest places MINI has been. You might want to sit down for this, otherwise you’ll probably get in your MINI and head straight to the airport.

INDIA

Back in January of this year, MINI launched “The New MINI in India.” The Volcanic Orange MINI went for a beautiful drive, adventuring through 13 of India’s states and 14 cities, in just 17 days. The crew experienced some diverse terrain, including embarking on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, one of India’s busiest high-speed roads. AUSTRALIA

If you’ve never been to Australia, it’s a dream country with a long coast-line that promises exceptional views. But add a modern home designed by legendary architects and there’s now a home we all want to live in – complete with a garage made for the MINI. Australian architects Modscape created this incredible home, which is clearly deemed the “Cliff House” and was inspired “by the way barnacles cling to the hull of a ship.” Anyone want to go on this adventure? DAKAR

One of MINI’s most rugged adventures that it keeps going on every year is to Dakar for the Dakar Rally. Dakar is located in Senegal, which is on the Cap-Vert Peninsula on the Atlantic coast in Africa. Every year, the rally car heads out and a team tags along to document the entire experience. New Zealand

Where could you attend a snowboarding competition, then head to the beach in the same day? New Zealand, of course. The MINI team loaded up a MINI Countryman and had a huge week. The team started at the Burton High Fives snowboard competition in Cardrona, then headed to Auckland for some surfing and cool beach vices with the Countryman.
