Schomp MINI’s 2015 Partnerships Strengthen Focus on Community and Brand Lifestyle

2015 was a big year not only for Schomp Mini, but also for our partners, whose work has fostered a positive impact within our community.  Fifty-two weeks were filled with outreach and events which showcased, among many things, the pride we take in our ability to work with such beneficial organizations.

Love Hope Strength, the world’s leading rock-and-roll cancer foundation, promotes innovative, music-related outreach and awareness programs for leukemia and cancer sufferers and survivors, as well as their respective families.  Through these programs, they have contributed over 119,000 registrations to the International Bone Marrow Registry, an effort which thus far has resulted in securing more than 2,100 potentially life-saving matches.

The Denver Post’s Underground Music Showcase (UMS) celebrated its 15th year in 2015.  The four-day festival, featuring 400 bands and 20 venues, was created by former Denver Post Writer John Moore as a way to showcase local bands who weren’t getting the attention they deserve.  MINI’s focus on the cultural and social aspects of music, dating back to the 1950s, makes this partnership an ideal match.

For the third year, Schomp MINI partnered with the MINI5280 regional car club.  The organization, which is entirely volunteer led, encapsulates over 200 members with a common mission to bring local and visiting MINI motorists together for fun and friendship.  Their annual “MINIs in the Mountains” event, which just celebrated its 10th year, is a highlight for both the brand’s lifestyle and for our beautiful local scenery.

Already a fixture in Colorado, Burton Snowboards represent an offering synonymous with MINI’s active and outdoorsy lifestyle.  In 1977, Jake Burton Carpenter founded Burton Snowboards out of his Vermont barn.  Since then, Burton has fueled the growth of snowboarding worldwide through its groundbreaking product lines, its team of top snowboarders and its grassroots efforts to get the sport accepted at resorts.

Continuing our support of Denver Fashion Week, Schomp MINI has had the pleasure of working with 303 Magazine, a fixture within our local editorial scene.  The entire Schomp Automotive group looks forward to working with all our partners again in the coming year.  Here’s to a magnificent 2016!
