8 Things You Should Know About This 4-Day Event

Denver Fashion Weekend Spring ’15, presented by Schomp Automotive, kicks off today! This four-day event offers local fashion, artistry and design by some of Denver’s most talented designers, boutiques, makeup artists and hair stylists. If you don’t have your tickets to DFW yet, hurry up because they tend to sell out every year. Here is the Spring 2015 DFW Event Guide:

TICKETS

There are many different price points of tickets offered at DFW. If you want to stand in a group of friends and watch from above, purchase GA standing room tickets. If you want to sit throughout the show and be closer to the runway, a VIP seat purchase would be the way to go. You can purchase tickets HERE.

LOCATION

Denver Fashion Weekend is held at City Hall Amphitheater every year. This three-story building is located on South Broadway, between 12th and 11th on the east side of the street. The address is: 1144 Broadway, Denver

PARKING

If you’re driving to the event, you can find street parking all around the venue. Check the metes to see when they turn off for the night. It you want a secure spot that you can stay parked in for one fee, there are several garages around the area.

NIGHT ONE on April 29

NIGHT TWO on April 30

Colorado has a lot of fashionable talent, but the designers and boutiques don’t only offer fashionable attire that is fancy. That’s why we’re showcasing some of the state’s best lifestyle and street style brands and designers so that you know the current trends. Come prepared to see lifestyle brands that are made for the busy commuter and explorer.

NIGHT THREE on May 2

Designers presenting in the local segment include Mona Lucero and Rachel Marie Hurst. For the second segment of the show, international brand Scotch & Soda will present its spring/summer collection, which is full of men’s and women’s fashion, including swimwear. Scotch & Soda is originally from Amsterdam, Germany and is now sold all over the world. This will be the first time Scotch & Soda will present in Colorado!

NIGHT FOUR on May 3

Denver Fashion Weekend’s iconic Hair Show is now one of the most popular nights of the show. See some of Colorado’s most popular salons take the runway and present big, colorful and crazy hair styles, all created in the venue the day of the show.

DRINKS and FOOD

Each night, Denver Fashion Weekend will host a cocktail party where boutiques, activities and food vendors will set up shop to offer an interactive activity before the runway segments begin. Whether you shop around, dance to the DJ or eat your way through the building, there’s something for everyone. If you show up to DFW hungry, there will be food vendors each night to satisfy your taste buds. Find out which restaurants are attending and prepare your stomach for a culinary adventure. There will also be several bars around the building.
