If you’re looking to get out of the city and take advantage of Colorado’s beauty this winter, then we’ve found a place that offers plenty of outdoor adventure, world-class cuisine, and accommodations that will let you relax and become refreshed.
It’s called The Lodge and Spa at Three Forks Ranch, and it’s located on the Colorado-Wyoming border, 40 miles north of Steamboat Springs. You’re going to want to pack the MINI and get out of town when you see this place and we don’t blame you. Here’s Schomp MINI’s Guide to a Winter Weekend Adventure:
WINTER ACTIVITIES
Here’s where the adventure we know you want to experience comes into play. At The Lodge and Spa at Three Forks Ranch, choose from several different daily winter activities including downhill skiing, sledding and tubing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing. Other activities include snowboarding, where you can explore the mountain without a line and hundreds of other people trying to ride the fresh pow on one of eight Olympian-approved runs. The Lodge also offers snowmobiling through 50,000 private acres on more than 100 miles of guided trails. There are fees for activities, but we suggest bringing your own gear to help cut the cost.
